The producer
Baarbara Estate
With origins dating back to 1896, Baarbara Estate has been part of India's coffee history for more than a century. It is led today by the fourth generation, Sreeraksha, who puts innovation first with micro-lots such as frozen cherry. Coffee here is shade grown among rich flora and fauna, and every lot is hand-picked, sorted and processed in the estate's own dry mill.
The roast
Medium Dark roast
Our darkest coffee, roasted to highlight sweetness with balanced acidity and no harsh roasty flavours. It gives a rich, delicate crema that sits well with its cacao-nib notes.
